It has been reported that this project is violating the Forest Conservation Act (FCA), Forest Right Act (FRA), Environmental Protection Act and Orissa Forest Act.
- Draft of Mine and Mineral (Development and regulation) bill has been prepared and the government is planing to give 26 percent share to local tribes.
