    1. Kindly follow the link at the bottom of the article. It will give you idea about questions and the sections from where it asked. In brief prepare May - August current affairs at least. For this you can refer to Pratyogita darpan, but I best advice you to look into Jagranjosh.com where they update current affairs daily. Secondly for General studies, if you need just a single book, then Tata Macgrawhill for UPSC Preliminary will be good enough. The second option is to look into NCERT books. Never depend on books which are published for IB exam alone. As far as I am concerned, it will be of no use.

    1. Just concentrate on last 4 month hot topics in News. Definitely you can answer the descriptive. Food Security Bill , Mid Day Meal Tragedy, Cross Border problems, etc., I hope one topic of this kind will come and few general topics like Women Empowerment, Corruption, Poverty, Sex Education, Educational Reforms etc., may come, but these topics are unpredictable. I suggest you to look at the hot topics of from the month of May till Exam, which stood in headlines.

    1. If your target is Civil Service Examination, I don't think ACIO will be a right option. Its my personal view as few of my friends who were preparing civil service examination along with me got recruited in IB in 2010 recruitment. Its their position that they are not able to concentrate on civil service preparation. If you need a job as back up and need to concentrate on Civil Service, then SSC CGL and Bank PO (IBPS) will be the right option. Among them too, I suggest personally for SSC and then comes Bank PO.

    1. Dear Friend,
I filed RTI online to MHA, they transferred it to Intelligence Bureau. Recently I got a reply from IB. They regretted to provide the information stating that the information cannot be provided, as IB is exempted as per Section 24(1) and Schedule 2. Now in Dilemma to appeal for the same by requesting them to mask information about individuals and just provide the marks. The possibility for providing cut off is less, but let me give a try. I will upload the RTI reply in the blog. Thank you for your interest.
