UPSC Assistant Commandant Examination, 2013 : Notification
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the post of Assistant Commandant's for the year 2013 in various Central Armed Police Forces. All the posts notified falls under Group - A category and successful candidates will be posted in CISF, CRPF, BSF, ITBP as Assistant Commandants.
Educational Qualification
A degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Final year candidates can also apply for the examination.
Age Limit
The minimum age of 20 and maximum of 25 for General category. Relaxation applicable as per government norms.
Mode of Selection
Stage 1 : Written Examination
Stage 2 : Physical Examination
Stage 3 : Personality Teat / Interview.
Patter of Written Examination for Assistant Commandant Examination, 2013
Paper 1 : General Ability and Intelligence. General Ability includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Indian and World Geography, Economics, Indian Polity, Indian National Movement, Current Affairs etc.,
Paper 2 : English Comprehension, Precis Writing and Essay.
